Art, in it’s many forms has been the thread throughout Fran Knabbe’s life as an educator, counselor and free-lance writer. She believes that developing one’s creativity is an adventure for both young and old and that art enriches life, making each a better, more interesting individual. She is a graduate of Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York from where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters degree in Counseling. She also has a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University at C. W. Post College, Greenvale, New York. Fran Knabbe lived on Long Island until her retirement. She now resides in Venice, Florida. Clay Play is her second children’s book; her first book was Can You Imagine...A Life Without Art?
